The Spite House
Inat Kuća is a living symbol of the Bosnian soul and steadfastness. History tells that in the 1890s, the owner refused to have his house demolished before the authorities moved it – brick by brick – to the other side of the river in protest against the new town hall.
Today, the house is one of Sarajevo's most authentic restaurants, where you can enjoy traditional Bosnian specialities in historical, Ottoman surroundings with a direct view of the river and the National Library.
